Open Question: Camping for first date, good idea or bad idea?

Okay so I met this guy a few weeks ago we hit it off as friends really well. But after a while things started changing and things grew very flirty between us. He asked me to go out Tuesday and hecause of his crazy work schedual, and that he lives a little over an hour away we decided to go camping, I was very up front with him that I wasn't going to "sleep" with him. His response was that he's not into sleeping together on the first date either. I'm just not sure if this is really a good idea... Opinions??
